Download Troubleshooting

Use the message on the downloader to distinguish a connection problem from a source-video restriction.

Your job is waiting in a queue

Only a limited number of requests run at once. Your queue position reflects jobs waiting ahead of you; it is not an exact time estimate because videos have different sizes and processing needs. Keep the tab open or refresh it to check the same remembered job. Submitting the same video repeatedly can increase waiting time and use your request allowance.

If the server restarts, saved queued jobs are restored and interrupted work is retried with a bounded recovery limit. A job can still fail if its source disappears or access conditions change.

The connection was interrupted

The page retries temporary status-check failures with increasing delays. If it stops reconnecting, use Check existing job to resume checking the job already submitted. This avoids creating another processing request.

If the original submission itself times out, the page may not have received a job link. Wait briefly, confirm your connection, and try again. The service does not retry the initial submission automatically.

The file transfer failed

Use the same Download video or Download audio link again while its displayed expiry has not passed. A failed or interrupted transfer does not immediately delete the file. On mobile, keep the browser active during the transfer and check that your device has enough free space.

If the browser saved a partial file, use its retry/resume option where available. Download links are temporary and cannot resume after expiry.

The link expired or the file was not found

Prepared files are removed after their delivery window. The normal default is 15 minutes, but your result shows the actual configured expiry. Submit the original video link again to prepare a new file. Keep the source link instead of bookmarking a temporary file URL.

The platform requires authentication

Some sources challenge automated requests or restrict videos by login, region, or audience. A video opening in your own logged-in browser does not mean it is available to the service. There is no public password or cookie-upload feature, and support does not need your account credentials.

Check that you are using the individual public video link described in the platform guides. If access is restricted, use the creator’s authorised download method or the source platform’s own features.

Audio could not be prepared

Check that the original video contains an available audio track. Silent videos cannot produce an audio download, and source access restrictions can prevent extraction even when you can watch the video in your browser. Try another authorised public video if the source has no accessible sound.

If you selected WAV or FLAC and the file is too large, prepare a new job as MP3, M4A, or Opus. Choose the format before selecting Prepare download. Switching the selector does not change a job that is already running.

The audio file does not open

Check that the transfer finished and that your player supports the selected .mp3, .m4a, .opus, .wav, or .flac format. Use a compatible player or prepare a new file in another format. Changing the filename extension does not convert the sound.

A streaming fallback is offered

For MP4 video requests, a fallback means the service found a media address but did not prepare a downloadable file. Your browser may play it or offer a save option. This address comes from the source platform and can expire quickly or depend on access conditions. It is not a guarantee of a playable file or a permanent download. Audio requests do not return video streaming fallbacks; they must finish preparing the selected audio file.

The request is too large or the server is busy

The default file limit is 100 MB. The downloader prepares MP4 video or the selected audio format and does not offer a quality selector. WAV and FLAC can reach the limit sooner because they can produce larger audio files. If no suitable file fits the limit, use a shorter authorised clip or a download method provided by the source.

Request limits and storage safeguards prevent overload. When asked to wait, allow the stated retry interval to pass rather than repeatedly submitting. If problems persist, email support@alpha1.ng with the platform, error message, approximate time, and browser type. Never send account passwords or session files.
